Text Box: This year PAPA annual picnic was held at Croton Point Park on Sunday June 26, 2005. In spite of High School Graduation on Long Island and other family functions about 200 people including pharmacists their family and friends were present. It was a day full of fun, food, entertainment and information. Day started with traditional breakfast with Nehari, Nan, Halwa Puri and chole. I heard someone say that he had not had this great breakfast in a long time and reminded him of days back home. After Zuhar Prayers an informal introduction of every one present was done. It was good to note that this year there were a lot more pharmacists from Punjab University than in previous year. Barbecue was great for lunch and every one present simply loved it. It was followed by desert, fruit and freshly prepared corn. Nasir Mahmood vice president of PSSNY gave the legislative update for this year and also provided a lot of information on upcoming Medicare Part D program which will start on January 1, 2006.
